Normal religions do not support killing other people and destroying stuff. All those murders only show how stupid, easily suggestible, ignorant and violent people are. I don't think of myself as a religion person, but I have christian and muslim friends, they read and know all those religious books.
Anyway, all these thoughts are irrelevant to the point of the comics.
