Dialects vary by region and by social group language variation reflects the fact that languages change over time and that people who live m the same territory, maintain the same social identity share language norms, they speak the same dialect. Although people believe that variety of language the surrounding people speak isn't a dialect, m reality, everyone speaks a dialect. Many people also believe th3t there is only one correct form of a language, but in truth, no dialect is superior to another on linguistic grounds. All dialects are systematic language varieties that follow regular patterns of vocabulary choice, grammar, and pronunciation. For example French, spoken in France is slightly different from the French spoken in Canada. The French spoken in Africa is different still. However, speakers of these three dialects can understand each other. Dialects represent an Interesting part of language study. Language is the form that we shape our thoughts into. This is a virtue and an abstruction at the same time. Because we think not with words but rather with feelings and images, we don't always know what we really want to say. First we shape our feelings into words, then someone hears them, and does the backward processing: shapes them into his or hers own perspective. Some, who are better in word-forming become writers and journalists, because they are better at finding words which can be understood by a lot of people in the same way more or less. Language is a system which we formed eyons ago to make others understand each others thoughts. If you think about it, it is our form of casual telepathy. This is why, as the saying goes, the pen is mightier than the sword.
