Still Alive Portal Guitar Cover,Music,,MP3: http://bit.ly/QuJd0Q God, I love this game. I felt this would be a perfect song to do after the hell that was finishing N64 Medleys 2. Just to let you know that, I'm still alive. I've had quite a few requests to do this and after the first one I kind of beat myself up over it. Portal really was one of my favorite recent games. I'm a huge Half-Life 2 fan so when this came out, I was all over it. I feel like it would be good too seeing as Portal 2 recently came out. I've been playing it at a friends house and am absolutely in love with it so I just recently bought it. Don't worry though, I'll find time in between to get next weeks cover out... hopefully. :D You may notice some differences in tones in this one. I wanted to keep a tone similar to the first N64 Medley, throughout the series so it'd work as a collection. Now that it's done, I can make a much more radical change to some of my tones. I'm now using a completely different amp model for my clean tone to keep the mids high, and I've lowered the treble quite a lot in my distorted lead tones. I hope you enjoy the new, less trebley sound my covers to come! I also picked up the Latin Expansion to EzDrummer to do more realistic sounding tamborine and shaker sounds. The guiro during the ska-ish part is kind of an inside joke among my friends. We've had a running joke about guiros so I finally found a good spot to fit them in!
