Saying that it impressed me would be a vast understatement. It's not only a game, but also a piece of modern art. The anticipation was very rewarding and I'm pleased with the direction Ninja Theory is taking. Also being a DmC: Devil May Cry fan (and it's soundtrack), I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that Andy LaPlegua was going to shape the atmosphere of Hellblade with his music. I knew I was going to make a cover before the game even came out. I started working on this video back in September. It took so long not only because I simply had not much of a free time, but also because of the nature of Hellblade's Soundtrack. There aren't many melodic parts, but instead mostly male choirs and ambient sounds, which I used and to which I added my rhythmic and melodic parts. Some parts are Viking Metal, some are Post-Rock, and some are who knows what. I ended up using these songs (in order): Surtr, Bridge Combat, Meadow, Beast Cave, Hela.
