The substance has a unique reaction with every animal genome it encounters and was designed to induce genetic chaos. Delivered via ingestion or inhalation, it's capable of mass destruction. Ovomorph (The‘Egg’) A biological capsule produced by the Alien Queen is considered a living organism. The Ovomorph houses the Facehugger and can detect potential hosts nearby. Roughly the size of a bird's egg. the Egg Sack is able to sense the proximity of potential hosts, spewing a cloud of microscopic spores (Motes) into the air. Facehugger A parasitic organism that hatches from the Ovomorph. its main purpose is to find a host to implant a Chestburster embryo into. Once Hie task is completed, the Facehugger will die. Motes Microscopic, dust-like spores released from the Egg Sack. Motes are able to group together, instinctively invading the host's body through open orifices. Once attached, the Motes plunge a feeding tube into the host's skin, injecting eggs into the body and causing the gestation process to begin Hamlprpede Result of indigenous worms of LV-223 being exposed to the Black Liquid. Trilobite (Mature) The mature form of the trilobite evolved rapidly over a short period of time to reach a massive size. Features multiple large tentacles that subdue its potential host in order to orally impregnate it. Bloodburster An infected host's health deteriorates rapidly, culminating in the Bloodburster violently puncturing the skin and clawing its way to freedom. The Bloodburster is a small, white quadruped that is capable of defending itself. Xenomorph (The “Alien") Xenomorphs are extraterrestrial predators that exist within a caste system with the Alien Queen presiding over a hive of drone and warrior Xenomorphs. Deacon Neomorph The mature form of the Bloodburster. the Neomorph has a large, white body, an elongated head, double-jointed jaws, and a tail that it uses to attack. Final result of the trilobite impregnating the last Engineer on LV-223. Appearing in the final scene of Prometheus, the Deacon burst through the chest of the Engineer and features a physical appearance and characteristics similar to the Xenomorph.
