Скандал с Assassin's Creed: Shadows в Японии продолжает набирать обороты
Как выяснилось, многие факты на которые ссылались разработчики и защитники Assassin's Creed: Shadows были взяты из книг англичанина Томаса Локли, живущего в Японии и работающий в Nihon University. При этом, как оказалось, никакого фактчекинга его книг со стороны японских экспертов не было. Написанное в книгах сугубо его интерпретация исторических событий.
Так же выяснилось, что Локли, с 2015 года, систематически занимался редактированием страницы Ясукэ в Википедии, изменяя факты и оставляя в качестве референсов ссылки на свои же книги.
Японцы уже накатали ещё одну петицию, с требованием опровержений от Локли и
Nihon University где он работает.
В качестве десерта. Ubisoft не знали, как ещё сильнее выбесить всех. Поэтому на проходящую в Париже выставку Japanexpo они при тащили стенд Shadows. Одним из экспонатов была катана Ясукэ. Которая на самом деле оказалась катаной Зоро из One Piece.
